Oh my goodness, what the heck did I get myself into?! That’s the cleanest summary I can give of the situation. I have the knack of selectively forgetting about this nauseating fear as soon as another trip idea comes up. Live on a kibbutz in Israel? Chase elephants in Namibia? Learn an intensively hard language which you forgot you suck at? Sounds like a grand idea! Count me in.
